Check in / out times
Hotel rules
Guests are to use their rooms for the agreed period. If the period of accommodation is not stipulated in advance, guests are to check out by 11.00 a.m. on the last day of their stay at the latest, and they are obliged to have vacated the room by this time. If a guest fails to do this, the hotel is entitled to charge him/her for another day’s stay. In the event that the hotel has already reserved this room beforehand, and the guest fails to heed requests to vacate the room, or if he or she is not present in the hotel, the hotel reserves the right to catalogue the guest’s possessions and to store them in a safe place so that the room can be used by the guest for whom it has been reserved.
Damage to Hotel Property
We reserve the right to charge guests the cost of rectifying damage, caused by the accidental, eliber- ate, negligent or reckless act of the guest to the hotel’s property or structure. Should this damage come to light after the guest has departed, we reserve the right to make a charge to the guest’s credit / debit card, or send an invoice for the amount to the registered address. We will however make every effort to rectify any damage internally prior to contracting specialists to make the repairs, and therefore will make every effort to keep any costs that the guest would incur to a minimum.
Removal of Hotel Property
We reserve the right to charge guests the cost of replacing any items that are removed from the prem- ises by them without consent. The charge will be the full replacement amount of the missing item, in- cluding any carriage charges. Should the fact that the item is missing come to light after the guest has departed, we reserve the right to make a charge to the guest’s credit/debit card, or send an invoice for the amount to the registered address.
No Smoking Hotel
Guests who disregard or breach our no smoking policy within a bedroom will, without any exceptions, be charged for de-fuming costs. A ne of €50.00 will be levied per guest and will be deducted from card details provided. Any further damage to the room caused by smoking will be treated as damage to hotel property.
Inappropriate Behaviour
It is the hotel’s policy that all our guests have the right to be treated with dignity and respect and as a responsible host we believe that we have a duty to our guests to protect them from inappropriate be- haviour. Should the Duty Manager deem any actions by a guest inappropriate, or if any inappropriate behaviour is brought to the attention of the Duty Manager, the hotel reserves the right, after any allega- tions have been investigated, to take action against the guest. Depending on the severity of the guest actions, the police may become involved at the hotel’s discretion, or guests may be asked to leave the hotel.
Noise curfew
Noise must be kept to a minimum at all times. It is forbidden for any person to wilfully make any loud, unnecessary or unusual noise which disturbs the peace and quiet of other hotel guests and causes them discomfort and/or annoyance. Guests are to observe night-time peace and quiet – silent hours from 10:00 PM ( 22:00 ) to 8:00 AM, i.e. they are not to disturb the other guests accommodated in the hotel. Anyone disturbing other guests during silent hours will be expelled by the Police without com- pensation. The hotel is entitled to ask compensation from the guests causing the disturbance resulting in negative feedback and/or early check-out of other guests and thus dispraising the hotel’s reputation. The amount charged will be at least the cost of a night’s stay.
Valuables
Please do not leave your valuables and your money in your room. We can not guarantee their safety. Thank you for understanding.
